exceltrain, inc. was founded in 1998
by Todd L. Willard - the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr.
Willard brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and operational
expertise that encompasses a wide array of industries. A banker by
trade, Mr. Willard brings a wealth of knowledge in the financial
services and electronic financial services sectors including retail
banking expertise. Mr. Willard served as President and Executive
Director for a start up electronic funds transfer company in the
mid-1980ís and has worked in senior level sales and marketing roles
for both start-up telecommunication companies and well known entities
including Automatic Data Processing, Inc. and most recently with MCI,
Inc (now called Verizon Business). In his role with MCI,
Mr. Willard has served in
Director of Sales capacities and in senior management roles involving
marketing and sales training. He has had significant roles in the
implementation of the singular largest sales force automation roll-out
in corporate history at that time for MCI Telecommunications. In
addition, Mr. Willard had the responsibility for the integration of the
most significant sales process training initiative ever implemented for
the National and Global sales channels at MCI Telecommunications, a $22
billion company prior to the acquisition of MCI Telecommunications by
WorldCom. Mr. Willard's overall business expertise that includes
senior level management, sales, marketing, security and technology is
highly sought after. In addition to being considered one of the
best training communicators in the industry, he also is highly coveted
today for his executive level coaching ability.
