Advanced Data Program

Length:

• 1 Day Long, Leader Led.

Pre-requisites:

• Basic Telephony, Basic Data Communications

Population Profile:

• New and existing company employees who will need to be well versed in the understanding of advanced data communications.

Program Objectives:

• Performance:  The participant will be better equipped to understand the flow of data and the appropriate applications to their respective company operations.  The participant will be able to demonstrate competency in advanced data communication concepts after attending the program. 

• Conditions:  The participant will be involved in a leader led program and work independently as well as in teams to apply what has been learned.  Various activities will be conducted to allow the participant the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge attainment for advanced data communications.

• Standards:  During the course of the training day, the participant will effectively communicate their knowledge and skill level regarding advanced data communications.  Knowledge in networks, protocols, Frame Relay, ATM will be expected.  An exam will also be administered at the end of the program is desired.

Summary Evaluation

• The advanced data communication offering is designed to give the participant a solid understanding of how data communications impacts their respective company.  Grasping the general terminology and how to apply the concepts are an integral part of the learning experience.
